Being a full-time RVer has its benefits. Not only do you have the luxury of traveling freely, you have all the comforts of home with less expense. Full-timers have the opportunity to work in exchange for a pad, electricity, and Wi-Fi. This reduces a full-timer’s cost of living. They also can serve as campground hosts working their way from state to state and sightseeing in between jobs. This allows the RVer to see as much of the world as they possibly can while making a living and taking care of their everyday needs.
If you’re considering living the full-time RVing lifestyle, here’s a few of the reasons why you should pack up your Recreational Vehicle and hit the road:
1. Everything you need is within your reach. Forget about costly hotels and motels while traveling. You can see the country for a fraction of the price by staying at campgrounds and Bureau of Land Management free campsites. Avoid eating out by cooking in your own kitchen. Sleep well at night in your own bed instead of someone else’s.
2. You can find a place to hang your hat and move on to a new location whenever you’re ready. Without a permanent residence, you don’t have permanent obligations. If you find work in another state, you can go there easily. If the weather isn’t perfect where you’re at, you can move to a place cooler in the summer and warmer in the winter.
3. You don’t have a mortgage. Pay cash for your motor home and eliminate housing costs. Add solar and forget about having an electric bill. Stay at one location long enough and reduce your travel costs. There’s lots of money to be saved by living on the road full-time in a Recreational Vehicle.
